Tuesday May 1st 7.30pm        The Womens Institute will host a speaker evening, within their normal meeting, where Ruth Moore-Williams will deliver "A Rant in Comedy and Song".  

Visitors are always welcome. A charge of of £3 is requested.

of the Community Council of Shropshire are organising a free

Local Community Information Event

at St Martins Centre on the Thursday 9th June 2011, 9.30am till 2pm. 

This event aims to  provide a one stop shop for information to local residents including vulnerable adults and their carers also Senior Citizens who live in St Martins and the surrounding areas. The event brings together voluntary and statutory bodies that provide services to these communities. The event will enable the organisations and the attendees to engage and receive information about support available locally in an informal and accessible environment.  The event will take the form of an exhibition and also talks/workshops from Fire & Rescue Service, West Mercia Police and the Fall Prevention Service. Attendees must book on to the event and free transport can be arranged.  The event finishes at approximately 2pm after a light lunch. St Martins Festival at The Keys.

The event is in aid of the The Hayley Higginson Trust and St Martins FC.The Hayley Higginson Trust is committed to honouring the memory of a remarkable young woman and helping juvenile cancer sufferers and their families in Shropshire, POWYS and the West Midlands.
